When registering to become a member of the Budget Classifieds website you will need to provide us with your personal information. We use this information in the various features of the site such as placing ads and allowing secure communication with other members. We may also use this information to contact you if the need arises.

Your account information is stored in a password-protected database so you don't need to enter it again throughout the website and may be sent via e-mail with notifications from the site.

Listing an Item
When listing an item, you may choose to disclose your personal information for the purposes of allowing others to contact you regarding your listing. Any information you provide here will be stored in a password-protected database and is available for other members to view for the duration of the listing. You may also choose to only allow other members to be able to contact you via the website to protect your personal information.

"Tell a Friend" feature
If you wish to inform someone of a certain item on our site using our "Tell a Friend" feature, you will need to provide us with your name, e-mail address and the e-mail address of the person you are sending it to. We only use this information to send the recommendation via e-mail.

Contact Seller
When contacting a seller, please be aware that any personal information you include when using this feature may be sent to the seller. Also, your e-mail address may be disclosed to the seller. If you wish to keep this private and communicate throught the Budget Classifieds website you may do so by going to iManage and changing your message settings to private.

Sellers Other Listings
When updating your personal information on the Budget Classifieds website, you may wish to display certain things about yourself on the "Seller's other listings" page. If you choose to do so, when a user clicks on the "Seller's other listings" link in a listing you have, the personal information you select will be available to them on this page.

Each time a page on budgetclassifieds.com.au is requested from your browser, we log your computer's IP address into our log files. Your computer has been pre-assigned a 12-digit number. This number is the IP address. We use your IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track your movements on the site, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to any other personally identifiable information by Budget Classifieds.

There will be no links allowed to other sites as we prefer not to link users personal information collected to any other site.

Correction/Updating Personal Information:

At any time, you can update your information, simply go to my account information at imanage and make any changes required.
